Désolé, our last day in Paris. Morning was at Musée d’Orsay. Lots of walking and then the La Cuisine Paris food tour of the Marais. Finally, dinner at Bouillon Racine. A wonderful day. 

Today was quite simple. The morning at the Louvre. A bit of shopping in the afternoon. Dinner at Le Train Bleu. A good day!

Today (Sunday) was supposed to be our trip to Versailles, which didn’t happen. The RER train was not running, which I attribute to the ongoing strikes in France. Plan B was a walking tour of the Right Bank. By the end of the day, we had walked slightly over ten miles! Nice dinner at Bofinger, near Bastille. ​

This is actually a belated post for yesterday. It was a long day and we almost missed our connection in Detroit. We raced to the departure gate, for our Paris flight, and they had already started boarding.

Being rather tired, we chose to spend part of the day on a tour bus, driving around Paris. After dozens of trips to Paris, I still enjoy doing this. Cocktails with friend Oliver Gee at Bistro Saint Dominique. Dinner was at La Fontaine de Mars, a favorite. It’s winter and Cassoulet was on the menu.
