Today was uneventful, spending much of the day wandering around Paris; I’m good at that, with no particular destination.
This evening, though was special. My friend, Cyril D., invited me to his apartment for dinner. The other guest was Alain (?) who had been the chef, for fifteen years, of the Jules Verne Restaurant, in the Eiffel Tower. Dinner conversation was a combination of French and English. This was a special experience and the dinner was wonderful. Cyril works for La Cuisine Paris and he leads walking tours and teaches classes. The first time we met, a few years ago, was on a walking tour. We started following each other on Instagram. After that, Kiki, Annie and I were on a food tour with Cyril. Then I attended a soufflé class. Last September, Claire and I took Cyril to dinner. He’s a super interesting person that was a TV journalist and a chef.

How cool that you dined with the chef from Jules Verne...Julia and I celebrated her 60th birthday there...best meal and night out ever!
